Buoyancy aids are essential for canoe hire as they ensure the safety and well-being of paddlers on the water. These aids provide flotation and support, helping individuals stay afloat in case of an accidental capsize. Regardless of one's swimming ability, wearing a buoyancy aid significantly reduces the risk of accidents and enhances confidence while paddling. At Wye Valley Canoes, safety is paramount, which is why we provide high-quality buoyancy aids with every hire.

Paddles are the engine for you canoe, all participants are kitted out with a paddle. We give all customers a paddle demonstration to ensure that you feel comfortable on the water and can steer your boat correctly and efficiently.

We will provide you with a 60 litre dry barrel or dry bag for your trip to ensure your essentials stay dry, even when you don't. On our camping trips you can fit a maximum of 3 dry barrels in your Canadian canoe (2 if using a 3 seater canoe).
